A school for hearing-impaired children with moderate to severe hearing loss was established in 1994 to support their language and speech development using the oral-auditory method. Since then, many children have been enrolled, and a significant number have successfully graduated with the skills needed to join mainstream primary schools. The school offers a supportive environment at a very nominal fee, while disadvantaged children receive free or subsidized education, including support through foster parent sponsorship.
The Hearing-Impaired Children Development Program provides early intervention, verbal skill training, individualized education plans (IEPs), and regular progress evaluations. Children receive support for speech, sensory integration, and behavior development, with guidance for transitioning to mainstream or vocational education based on their progress.
The Delayed Speech Language and Autism Program provides early intervention, communication skill development, behavior support, and sensory integration therapy. Each child receives an individualized plan, with regular progress monitoring and guidance for transitioning to appropriate educational pathways.
The Intervention Clinic provides early assessment, individualized therapy, and targeted support for children with developmental, speech, language, behavioral, or sensory challenges. Services are designed to enhance communication, learning, and overall functional development through structured intervention plans.
The After School Program offers a variety of engaging activities, including sports, outdoor games, creative play, and annual picnics. These activities are designed to enhance children’s physical development and support emotional well-being. Alongside recreational opportunities, students also receive structured learning support to reinforce their academic and personal growth.
